What an odd title for an album of ambient music, I hear you say.

Well, it's an idea put forward by an ancient Greek philosopher, Epicurus in fact. Apart from loving many of his ideas and philosophical thoughts, this idea of one living by your own means of support and developing communities of like-minded people around you and not relying on the will of the Gods or of fate, really makes a lot of sense to me.

Plus, I think Epicurus would have loved ambient music. As a relaxed and self-aware life style is key to a long and healthy life. And that's what ambient music does to me, it relaxes me. And gives time to think, reflect and also, come up with ideas.

I hope my music makes you think, relax and sets you free.
