OPUS 17 is the culmination of more that one years composing. These three string quartets were all written during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some reflect this dark and disturbing time and in some, you can hear the light coming out of the end of the lockdown that we all went through.

But, String Quartet No. 5, titled "A Sad Bunch" is about how I feel we are as a group of beings. It reflects the ultimate experience I get from the human race, and it says, we are a sad bunch with little hope of every improving ourselves, I wish it were otherwise.
