about

I Seek God
everywhere, in everything and everyone, but
What have I Found?
giant sandstone castles, twisted and distorted words
unbelievers and ungodly people
Call me Mad
of course you will, because you don’t want to understand
I’ll walk out, to find peace and truth
Into the Midst
where I can be alone, to discover
The Godhead
the holy ghost, the father and son
but not to pray too much, or fall into
Transcendental Madness
and prove to people, what they think I am, so I’ll
Walk the City
looking for, trying to find
One Honest Man
and after all my words, even after
A Passionate Reason
you still won’t hear me, I’ll go forever
Into Solitude
you might declare that
God is Dead
all that will do, is trick you, and turn our home into
A Silent Earth

Songs of the Madman is a concept album, loosely based on the life of a modern day man, like Diogenes. He searches for God, honesty and truth. As he defies the conventions of his time, people call him mad. He is ostracised and left to wonder, who is mad, him or the world, and what have we lost.
