12 Reasons to Cry

by Rob J Kennedy

You don't need a reason to cry. Or to be happy, sad or anything you want to feel. Everyone has the power and the right to feel what they want to feel.

This album is about the same thing all my albums are about, and that's expressive emotional music. You will find a cross-section of musical styles on 12 Reasons to Cry; from Jazz to Classical.

Again, I am working with the fantastic percussionist, Yatziv Caspi on a few tracks, and for the first time, on track 1, La muerte del amor (The Death of Love), with the trumpeter Chris Davis from the United States of America. And, on You're Gone, Harry Robinson from the U.S.A. plays the bass.

On track 9, You're Gone, you can hear,
Harry Robinson, Bass - U.S.A.
Chris Davis, Trumpet - U.S.A.
Yatziv Caspi, Percussion - Germany
Rob J Kennedy, Piano - Australia

But, I'm just waiting for the right singer to come along and sing the lyrics I wrote for this slow, sad jazz song. If you know of one, please let me know.

You're Gone

Today, you're gone, but still here
I know, that you, can't tell me
all, all the things I want to hear you say
just say, just say the words I want to hear you say.

Today, I'm gone, but still there
you know, that I, can't tell you
all, all the things you want to hear me say
let's say, let's say the words we want to hear us say.

Today, we're gone, but still here
we know, that we, can't tell us
all, all the things we want to hear us say
let's say, let's say the words we want to hear us say.
